HegionSoft ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Diecast Hub mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our App.

By using Diecast Hub, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Name, email address, and profile photo when you register or sign in with Google or Apple.
• Collection Data: Details about diecast cars you add, including photos, descriptions, and condition notes.
• Usage Data: App interactions, features used, device type, operating system version, and crash reports.
• Camera & Photos: Only when you explicitly use the AI scan or photo upload features. Images are processed for car identification and stored as part of your collection.
• Push Notification Tokens: Used to send you relevant notifications (e.g., replies to your posts, new followers). You can disable these at any time.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and maintain your collector account
• To store and sync your diecast collection across devices
• To enable social features (following, comments, activity feed)
• To power AI-based car identification features
• To send relevant push notifications
• To improve app performance and fix bugs via analytics
• To comply with legal obligations

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore, Firebase Storage, Firebase Auth), hosted in European data centers (europe-west1 region). We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Encrypted data in transit (TLS/HTTPS)
• Firebase Security Rules restricting data access
• Firebase App Check to prevent unauthorized API access
• No plaintext storage of passwords (handled by Firebase Auth)

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may collect data as described in their own privacy policies:

• Google Firebase — Authentication, database, storage, analytics, crashlytics
• Google Sign-In — OAuth authentication
• Apple Sign-In — OAuth authentication (iOS only)
• RevenueCat — In-app purchase & subscription management
• Google Mobile Ads — Advertising (free tier users only)
• Google ML Kit — On-device AI for car scanning

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share data only in the following circumstances:

• With service providers listed in Section 4, solely to operate the App
• If required by law, court order, or governmental authority
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of HegionSoft, our users, or others

6. Public Information

By default, your garage and collections may be discoverable by other users on the Explore screen. You can set individual cars and collections to private at any time within the App settings.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data (use "Download My Data" in the App)
• Correction: Update your profile information at any time
• Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data via App settings → Delete Account
• Opt-out: Disable push notifications via your device's notification settings

8. Children's Privacy

Diecast Hub is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes via a notice in the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
